Local Area Information

We are in the centre of the village, a short walk to a couple of good pubs, several restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Italian, Thai, French), Tesco Express (open 7 days a week 6am to 10pm), a very good bakers, Post Office etc. A popular playground is nearby and an excellent walking/running/cycle path starts right by the house. For those keen on fishing we are next to the river Lea and I'm told it's a good spot, so bring your rod!

We are 20 minutes from Luton Airport and 15 minutes from St Albans for fast (20 mins), regular trains into central London.

Parking for 2 cars. Taxi service from Harpenden Taxis or A1. Bus stop 2-3 minutes walk with a regular service to St Albans, Luton, Hatfield and Welwyn.
